Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment for 2027 benefits is November 2–13, 2026.
This is your annual opportunity to enroll in or make changes to these benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Flexible spending accounts (FSAs)
- Healthcare Accounts (HRAs)
- Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
- Supplemental life insurance
- Supplemental accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance
- Accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity insurance
- Legal and ID Shield
If you don’t do anything during Open Enrollment, your current benefits will continue in 2027 except FSAs – if you want an FSA in 2027, you must actively enroll in one during Open Enrollment.

Documentation for Dependents
If you‘re enrolling dependents, you will need to provide supporting documentation, such as:
- Marriage certificate
- Birth or adoption certificate
If you’re enrolling in or increasing supplemental life and AD&D insurance coverage for yourself or dependents, you may need to provide Evidence of Insurability.
Additional Step for Recent New Hires
If you‘re hired during Open Enrollment, you‘ll need to enroll twice: first for the current plan year 2026, and then again for 2027.

Contribution Limits
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
In 2027, you can contribute up to:
- Health Care or Limited Purpose FSA – $3,400
- Dependent Care FSA – $7,500
Health Savings Account (HSA)
In 2027, you can contribute up to:
- Individual medical coverage: $4,500
- Family medical coverage: $9,000
The contribution from Blue Diamond Growers remains as:
- Individual medical coverage: $1,000
- Family medical coverage: $2,000
NEW! Kaiser HMO Premium Plan
We have added a Kaiser HMO buy-up plan with no deductible! The out-of-pocket maximums for the year are $2,000 (individual) and $4,000 (family), with copays for most services. Please review your Benefit Guide for more plan details.
